In February 2015, HERi Madagascar hired ENDEVA UG, an independant consultant, to conduct an impact evaluation on the general activities of our social business. The evaluation aimed at providing evidence on the social impact of HERi's energy kiosks and an analysis of the operations on the village level.

No batteries are needed for the FOSERA radio as it runs on the battery of the FOSERA lamp.
Nanja, Farah and Miora won the drawing contest that was organized during the launch of the BOP-lamp in Avaretsena. Children were asked to draw pictures of ‘happy and healthy families’.
Mrs. Vero works as a farmer and tailor. The Fosera lamp allows her to work at night: a cheaper, cleaner and brighter alternative than the candle that she used previously.
